Our busy hotel is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented customer service professional to make our guests' dining experience memorable. As our breakfast attendant, you will set up the buffet daily, ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are well-stocked, and break down the buffet after service. The breakfast attendant will also refill coffee and beverages as needed or when asked and remove dirty dishes and utensils. Candidates should be enthusiastic about customer service. Responsibilities: • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner• Provide attentive service to guests in the dining area by taking orders, and serving food and drinks• Make sure that the breakfast buffet is fully set up each morning and that fresh items are always offered throughout service hours• Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty garbage• Remove plates and dishes from tables throughout the breakfast service using appropriate techniques for removing plates, glasses, and silverware promptly Qualifications: • Food service industry experience is highly desired• Possesses strong organizational and time management skills • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team members Compensation: $13 hourly +tips About Company: Newly refreshed with elegant style, Cherry Valley Hotel offers classic accommodations amidst a charming, pastoral location in the Ohio countryside.
