We're seeking a friendly and reliable laundry attendant to make sure our hotel guests are satisfied during their stay. We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic team member who enjoys interacting with guests and making them feel at ease. Responsibilities include washing, ironing, pressing, and folding linens. You should ideally have experience with industrial washing products as well as the ability to lift 20 pounds or more on a consistent basis. Responsibilities: • Sort all linens to identify stains and treat stains with proper cleaning products and methods• Ensure all cleaning supplies are in stock and indicate any shortages to the general manager• Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed• Verify that all laundry equipment is in good working order and alert the facilities manager of any repair needs• Take out the clothes and linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturer's recommendations Qualifications: • Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis• Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills• Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products• Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification• 1 or more year as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or a similar role is strongly desired Compensation: $15 hourly About Company: Newly refreshed with elegant style, Cherry Valley Hotel offers classic accommodations amidst a charming, pastoral location in the Ohio countryside.
